Position Overview
Exact Sciences is seeking a Senior Manager, Supply Chain & Logistics Quality and Compliance to lead and oversee quality assurance and compliance programs throughout our global Supply Chain operations. This role ensures compliance with our QMS, regulatory standards, trade compliance rules and regulations, drives continuous improvement in the internal quality processes, and partners with cross-functional teams to support operational excellence in a highly regulated environment.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience in supply chain quality systems, an in-depth understanding of GMP/ISO standards, and a proven ability to manage trade compliance for highly regulated complex global supply chains.
Essential Duties
Include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality and compliance programs for supply chain and logistics operations.
- Serve as subject matter expert on quality and compliance within the supply chain, providing strategic direction and oversight to ensure operational alignment with regulatory expectations.
- Administer and maintain trade compliance programs. Serve as primary contact for customs brokers, import/export compliance matters, and government inquiries or notifications relating to Logistics compliance issues.
- Implement and maintain robust systems for the compliance handling, storage, and shipping of hazardous materials and dangerous goods.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies related to hazardous material handling and logistics processes.
- Stay abreast of US import / export regulatory changes and proposed legislation.
- Establish process controls and provide guidance and training for Supply Chain and Logistics personnel, to ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable trade regulations.
- Perform audits of customs reports, broker data, vendor and shipper invoices, import / export documentation to ensure all charges are proper and accurate.
- Maintain performance and productivity metrics to drive process improvements and ensure visibility to leadership and team.
- Partner closely with Corporate and Clinical Quality as it relates to Logistics and Distribution activities, ensuring all processes and operations are compliant, with Quality support and contribution.
- Effectively manage, support, and guide your team, including, but not limited to delegating tasks and responsibilities, assess employee performance and provide helpful feedback and training opportunities.

- Ability to work nights and/or weekends.
- Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
- Ability to comply with any applicable personal protective equipment requirements.
- Ability to travel between Exact Science locations.
- Ability to travel 15% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a field as outlined in the essential duties; or high school degree/general education diploma and 4 years of experience in a field as outlined in the essential duties.
- 10+ years of experience in quality management, supply chain, or logistics within a GMP/ISO-regulated environment.
- 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Extensive knowledge of regulatory standards, including FDA, IATA DGR, DOT hazardous material regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or Master’s in Operations / Supply Chain
- US Customs Brokerage License.
- Experience in a biotech manufacturing environment, preferably in a GMP and/or ISO 13485 environment.

Salary Range:
$129,000.00 - $208,000.00
The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to be considered for company stock at hire and on an annual basis.
