The Senior Manager of Sales Operations Strategy will spearhead the Commercial forecasting process within our organization. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy of sales forecasts, analyzing market trends, and providing actionable recommendations to inform business planning and decision-making. Acting as the primary Sales liaison to the Data Analytics Group and IT, this position focuses on business solution development, automation initiatives, and process/system enhancements. The ideal candidate will possess a robust analytical background, extensive experience in sales forecasting, and exceptional executive communication skills.
Work Environment:
- Hybrid Option: Available for candidates residing in New Jersey (NJ) and Pennsylvania (PA). This option requires working in our Ewing, NJ office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
- Remote Option: Available for candidates residing outside of New Jersey (NJ) and Pennsylvania (PA). Occasional travel to the Ewing, NJ office will be required for key meetings and events.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the Commercial forecasting process to deliver accurate and timely forecasts that align with business goals.

Validate forecast accuracy by analyzing sales data, market trends, and statistical models, while identifying potential risks or opportunities.

Collaborate with leaders in Sales, Marketing, Finance, Data Analytics, and Operations to gather insights and ensure alignment across functions.

Monitor and report on forecast accuracy using advanced analytic tools, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management based on detailed forecast analysis.

Lead the cross-functional support team on monthly forecast process priorities and improvements.

Partner with the Data Analytics Group to develop and maintain comprehensive sales trends and forecasting performance dashboards.

Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to enhance forecasting process efficiency and accuracy.

Train and mentor Commercial team members on forecasting techniques and tools.
Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree required.
-
Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales forecasting, sales planning, sales finance, or a related analytical role.

High familiarity with sales forecasting tools and data visualization platforms.

Relevant experience within a CPG or Consumer OTC environment.

Strong working knowledge of P&L and business acumen.

Proficient in Nielsen or Circana, Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint), and PowerBI.
