Position is focused on driving SMB sales growth through named MSP/MSSP Distribution/Aggregator Americas based partners. Solution focus will be selling Proofpoint Essentials Email Security and Security Awareness product lines.
Proofpoint Essentials is the leading AI-enabled security email and email security solution helping secure SMBs from the latest cybersecurity and data loss threats and is custom designed for the MSP/MSSP partner ecosystem.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Sales performance
- Leads Proofpoint sales efforts through key named channel partners, including MSP/MSSP Distributors, platform providers, Telcos and other partners selling to SMB-Midmarket customers.
- Drive sales and Proofpoint preference with the MSP501/MSSP250.
- Create sales campaigns, initiatives and sales motions with Partners.
- Work with Partner sales and sales engineering teams to promote and grow Proofpoint solution sales.
- Provide sales forecasting and reporting.
- Identify issues and make actionable recommendations to ensure optimum performance across multiple process areas including sales, marketing, support, product, billing.
- Partner management
- Own and manage Partner relationships to include partner executives, sales leadership, sales and sales engineering, security teams, marketing and other partner relationships.
- Attend partner SKOs, sales conferences, events and activities, globally as needed.
- Support Partner initiatives and promotions that help drive Proofpoint sales.
- Identify gaps in channel coverage.
- Facilitate and attend Partner QBRs.
- Marketing Collaboration / Demand Generation
- Collaborate with Proofpoint Product Management and Proofpoint/Partner Marketing teams.
- Identify and help drive demand generation activities and campaigns
- Help develop go to market strategies and campaigns for new product releases and features with named partners.
- Help drive marketing activities and RoI.
Qualifications
- Cybersecurity experience (at least 5 years)
- Email security and security awareness solution experience
- MSP/MSSPs and SMB-Midmarket business experience
- Distribution and/or Telco partners experience recommended
- Americas sales/channel experience, LATAM also desired
- Ability to travel to Partner locations and associated events/conferences
- Highly collaborative, innovative and results driven
- Experience with MSP501/MSSP250 partners, Vircom, Sherweb, Pax8, desired
