The Senior Manager, Learning Strategy and Development for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible leading a technical team of instructional designers, augmented reality developers, new product launch managers and LMS administrators to design and develop world-class training programs for customers and internal Beckman Coulter service associates.
This position is part of the Global Service organization and will be fully REMOTE (USA-based). At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.
You will be a part of the Global Professional Development leadership team and report to the Director of Global Service Learning Products responsible for building a Learning Culture – creating synergy across all regions globally to support the needs of customers and regional service teams. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Own, create and implement a cohesive and comprehensive learning strategy that aligns with business goals and fosters professional growth for internal and external customers, using diverse instructional design methodologies and technologies.

Build a culture of continuous improvement, leading and mentoring a team of learning and development professionals and new product launch managers, fostering a collaborative, high-performance and innovative environment.

Strategically design, develop, and curate high-quality, engaging learning programs and content, including instructor-led training, eLearning and augmented reality modules, new product launch activities, advanced workshops, and blended learning solutions.

Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements across global services and stay current with industry trends and best practices to ensure the learning strategy remains innovative and effective.

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs through metrics, objective evidence and feedback, and apply Danaher Business System (DBS) tools and techniques to enhance these programs.

Establish collaborative relationships with senior leaders, HR, and cross-functional teams to strategically align learning initiatives with organizational goals, driving innovation in training programs, and supporting commercialization efforts of professional services.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor’s degree with 14+ years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree with 12+ years of relevant experience
- "Relevant experience" is defined as ownership and collaboration in a dynamic team of content creators, instructional design, curriculum development involving scientific methodologies
- 5+ years of strong leadership of professional, cross-functional global business teams
- Demonstrated experience in influencing, developing and motivating people from diverse backgrounds
Travel Requirements:
- This position requires up to 20% travel. Travel will primarily be domestic but may occasionally be international.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Experience supporting new product launches with the ability to navigate ambiguity in the process
- Experience in medical device or clinical laboratory settings with technical aptitude
- Experience with augmented reality solutions, Knowledge Connection, Master Control and/or other Learning Management Systems

The annual salary range for this role is $150,000-170,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
