THE ROLE
We are building a team of “Growth Hackers” for our self-serve business comprising of 15,000+ customers globally. The Growth Manager will combine digital growth hacking strategies with inside sales tactics to drive rapid user acquisition, engagement, retention and revenue growth. This role provides you the opportunity to take a holistic view of the segment leveraging analytical thinking, driving insights from data to develop strategies for success in the segment. You will work closely with the sales & marketing teams to optimize growth channels and execute sales outreach efforts to convert leads into long-term customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Growth Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute data-driven strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention and share of wallet improvement via marketing and inside sales initiatives with an emphasis on rapidly scaling customer base and increasing retention. Monitor portfolio performance to identify root causes and actions to bring performance back on track
- Experimentation & Optimization: Design and execute A/B tests for campaigns partnering with the inside sales and marketing team (e.g. CTA optimizations, call scripts) and growth experiments to maximize acquisition and retention.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data and analytics tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and optimize both growth strategies and sales outreach efforts.
- Oversee campaigns: Utilize Salesforce and other automation tools to track progress of inside sales and marketing campaigns, drive scalable sales processes and ensure learning is applied and informs future activity. Provide support and challenge to the regional team to ensure understanding of the changes required to deliver and engagement.
- Customer Insights: Analyze customer feedback and behavioral data to improve outreach efforts and ensure strategies align with customer pain points and needs.
- Product: Be a key partner for product teams providing input into the product development roadmap to be an advocate for the customers within that org
- Collaboration & teaming: Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product, and design teams to align growth objectives and streamline the conversion process from lead generation to customer retention.
- Executive Read-outs & Reporting: Provide regular performance updates to leadership, offering insights into growth strategies, sales outreach effectiveness, and recommendations for improvement
What you will need to succeed:
- Experience in growth hacking, digital marketing, or inside sales preferably in a B2B SaaS or payments business. A consulting background would be a plus.
- Experience of developing and implementing growth campaigns in digital self-serve businesses
- Strong diagnostic capability through analytics and evaluating qualitative data/insight to inform decision-making
- Ability to both think strategically and have a practical bias for action with an "ownership" mentality; will deep dive to drive execution in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the flexibility to pivot and adapt
- Highly structured ways of working and outstanding problem-solving skills with an emphasis on data-driven decision making, even when you don’t have all the data
- Able to take complicated questions, break them down, and analyze quantitative and qualitative inputs to make recommendations
- Strong influencing & interpersonal skills – you earn respect and can execute through influence; able to build productive and positive relationships at all levels across the org
- Communications: Present data in compelling ways, create structured and clear communications to inform growth campaigns in the portfolio
