The Team:
The Hot Wheels Global Brand Marketing team is responsible for creating and executing global brand building strategies that will excites and empower vehicle lovers at every stage of life, from kids to adults. Guided by our “Challenge Accepted” spirit, we create Brand and line strategies that inspire kids to chase their dreams, while thrilling fans of all ages with action-packed products and experiences. In close partnership with Design, Product Development, and Commercial teams, we develop iconic products that captivate a broad consumer range across the globe.
We also develop Global Marketing campaigns for our brands, all while factoring in the business management of managing the global P&L and ensuring our products meet our financial objectives. Marketing serves as the connective tissue between our other cross functional design and development partners, finance, our commercial teams and many others.
Job Description
The Opportunity:
The Senior Manager, Hot Wheels Global Brand Marketing located in El Segundo, CA will work closely with the Director, Global Brand Marketing managing a segment(s) of the overall Hot Wheels business. This includes (but not limited to) new product development, pricing, packaging, and creation of marketing materials to support global strategies developed by Sr. Manager and segment and brand leadership.
What Your Impact Will Be:
- Develop overarching segment strategies for the global strategic plan (BDO) through market analysis and stakeholder input;
- Lead the day-to-day line development for assigned brand segments with cross-functional teams and manage to key milestones while meeting margin and line rationalization targets;
- Manage financial targets, segment forecasts and P&L, as it relates to assigned segment(s);
- Strategically develop global brand-building activities and global marketing tools, including product advertising, and development of content with internal and external groups.
- Delivery of global growth by collaborating with key subsidiaries to incorporate global market needs and feedback into the line development
- Managing and developing direct report(s)
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 8+ years (6+ years with MBA) experience in consumer or brand marketing
- Prior leadership experience in marketing/brand management including managing multi-disciplinary cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated strategic planning skills
- Prior product development experience required
- Proven analytical and conceptual skills
- Excellent written/verbal, time management and quantitative/analytical skills
- Experience managing direct reports

- Ability to drive change and results through influential leadership skills

The annual base salary range for this position is between $140,000 and $175,000.
**This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however annual base salary will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.
