The Enterprise Data Product team is seeking a Data Product Sr Manager who oversees the Data Product Owners within the Data Organization. The Data Product Sr Manager will lead the data product owners in designing, developing, and managing data-driven products by collecting and interpreting product data, utilizing data science techniques, overseeing the transformation rules implemented in the data pipelines, and ensuring data quality while aligning with business goals and user needs often collaborating closely with cross-functional teams across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Consolidates, rationalizes and prioritizes client, technical, and other requirements into a project roadmap to help define strategy and timeline for features and enhancements
- Participates in planning medium-to long-term efforts (i.e., quarterly and annual team plans, large client projects) and multi-team projects.
- Provides mentoring and performance development to staff, challenging the team for creative solutions, innovative applications, cost savings and improvements in service delivery
- Contributes to staffing planning and definition of organizational structure
- Regularly engages with stakeholders to identify, address, and resolve issues and concerns
- Defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of data products
- Serves as a data product evangelist across all data domains
- Define the overall vision and strategy for data products, aligning them with business objectives and market needs.
- Design data products that effectively present insights and meet user requirements, including data visualization and user interface considerations.
- Certify the output of data domains to ensure best-in-class quality and performance
- Implement data governance practices to maintain data quality, security, and compliance.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to execute on data-driven initiatives
- Gather user feedback to improve data products and address user pain points
- Communicate data domain statuses and product strategy to organizational stakeholders using the enterprise marketplace
QualificationsMinimum:
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 8 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 6 years'
experience; a Ph.D. and 3 years' experience in a related field; or 12 years' experience in a related field - 3+ years' experience in management or leadership role
- Deep expertise in SQL language across Oracle, AWS, and Snowflake databases and querying large datasets
- Knowledge of data warehousing and data pipelines
- Experience in data modeling and a solid understanding of product management principles
- Experience working in cloud environments such as Google, Microsoft, or Amazon
- Requires strong knowledge working in cloud environments such as Google, Microsoft, or Amazon
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization
Preferred:
- Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering or closely related field. Ph.D. strongly preferred
- Experience within telecommunications and the cable industry
USD 131,600.00 - 219,400.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $131,600.00 - $219,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members.
