Meet the Team:

Oversee Dexcom Japan G.K.'s sales channels as the Channel Manager. Align with corporate strategy, collaborating with the sales team to boost revenue efficiently through wholesalers. Develop a strategy for wholesalers, managing rebates, allowances, and optimizing distribution channels. Negotiate with wholesalers and shipping companies for new opportunities. This role demands a deep understanding of wholesalers and seasoned management skills in working with them.

  • Knowledge and awareness spans all aspects of the specific functional area such as wholesaler management
  • Enhances understanding and knowledge of how functional objectives support corporate objectives.
  • Possesses in-depth knowledge of leading best practices in area of expertise.

Scope

  • Establishes operational objectives and work plans to assure adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.
  • Negotiate with wholesales and dealers for efficient programs to achieve our goals.
  • Manage regular calls to update appropriate strategies and operations.
  • Build good relationships with partners to implement execution.
  • Manage group purchase organization to obtain tenders
  • Ensure to implement new channel strategies such as cash-pay
  • Work with sales team to smooth operations

  • Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
  • Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results will add to costs and may impact the short-term goals of the organization.

Management

  • Directly manages the coordination of the activities within a function/department with responsibility for results.

Experience and Education

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree with 13+ years of industry experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience working with wholesalers in pharmaceutical or medical device companies.
