The Sr. Manager for Business Intelligence will assist in gathering requirements, designing, developing, execution and on-going maintenance of both analytical data models and front-end reporting products and dashboards.  This role will be responsible for leading the standardization of all client data domain reporting that will be leveraged as a single source of truth and to directly support prioritized business use cases.

You will partner cross-functionally within the client development and marketing technology team to identify, manage, and provide thought leadership on robust analytical tools and reporting solutions to business-critical demand. This role is the first preliminary hire in a new vertical supporting the Client Development team.  The position will support a suite of analytics focused on contact, account, and opportunity management.  

The ideal candidate will excel in both data modeling and data visualization, though we remain open to further training and developing a candidate's expertise in one of these two disciplines.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide thought leadership on client data domain, with focus on risk mitigation and operational efficiency aligned to key business objectives.

  • Partner with attorneys and GO! Team members to identify critical business initiatives and challenges that can be supported through in depth-analysis and creation of repeatable data products.

  • Design, develop, and build high quality data visualization, reporting, and analytical solutions focused on account based engagement, funnel activation, and contact user journeys.

  • Maintain existing dashboards and reporting products; Enhance the quality, functionality, and performance of current solutions. Address and resolve questions or incidents escalated by business users. 

  • Transform disparate data sources and reports into scalable and repeatable analysis and/or dashboard products.

  • Ensure highest standard of data integrity and quality through development of robust and automated quality control processes.

  • Contribute into a dynamic environment that empowers and rewards those who take the initiative to develop a commercial acumen and learn the business model.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar).

  • Advanced degree or professional certifications are a plus

  • Minimum of 8+ years’ work experience in business intelligence / analytics role, preferably with some exposure to legal or professional services

  • Minimum of 3+ years’ people management experience

  • Experience executing within complex data projects with multiple work streams and stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau and/or PowerBI).

  • Demonstrated proficiency with data wrangling and data preparation tools

  • Demonstrated proficiency in data querying languages (SQL).

  • Strong verbal and written communication / presentation skills.

  • Experience working in a high performing agile delivery model is a plus.

  • Takes ownership over team responsibilities and can independently drive a work stream.

  • Works fluidly within own team as a contributor, trains others, and leads by example.

  • Take complex issues/problems, organize, structure and formulate solution.

  • Adaptive problem-solving approach without getting caught up in low value details.

  • Ability to influence and build trust-based relationships with peers and stakeholders.

  • Can deliver and adapt simultaneously in a fast-paced, changing environment.

The target salary range for this position varies by location and is commensurate with relevant experience: Boston $133,100 - $199,700 | Los Angeles $139,800 - $209,700 | New York $139,800 - $209,700 | Philadelphia $125,200 - $187,800 | San Francisco $149,100 - $223,700 | Santa Monica $139,800 - $209,700 | Silicon Valley $149,100 - $223,700 | Washington DC $133,100 - $199,700
