Job Title: Sr. JDE Techno/Functional Lead
Role Overview:
The Sr. JDE Techno/Functional Lead will work within the Build tower and provide frontline JDE technical support to the functional team. The candidate will have a strong technical background, critical thinking skills, and the ability to perform complex troubleshooting and issue resolution.
On a typical day you will:
- Work with the Solution Architect and Business Analysts to understand and clarify business requirements.
- Conduct design reviews and validate estimations from internal and external resources
- Gain proficiency in Otis’s development standards and ensure teams follow
- Experience with designing, developing, and testing EnterpriseOne objects across Functional Modules (Manufacturing, Inventory, Procurement & Supply Chain, Sales & Distribution, Warehouse Management, Finance)
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle (Requirement gathering, Designing, Development & Testing, signing off with user, production support) for all levels of complexity
- Excellent problem solving and debugging skills
- Design effective, scalable, and maintainable solutions following Otis’s development standards
- Troubleshoot existing applications and create long term solutions
- Provide accurate estimates for development effort and risks of proposed solutions
What You Will Need to be Successful:
- 6 - 12 years overall IT/DT experience
- 6+ years of technical experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (8.12, 9.0, 9.1, 9.2) using the development toolsets
- Should have worked on at least one full cycle of JD Edwards Project implementation / Upgrade / Support with experience in design and development of Oracle JD Edwards Enterprise One 9.1 and above, modules/suites
- In depth working understanding of the JDE (preferably 9.2) technical tool set like ERW, FDA, RDA, Named Event Rules, C Business Function programming, Table Conversion, BI Publisher, BSSV, Orchestrator, One view report, CAFÉ 1, E1 pages and other UDO types
- Good knowledge of JDE integration with third party systems using JDE tool set like TC, BSSV
- Experience building integrations with external systems using middleware integration tools like Oracle SOA, Dell Boomi or SSIS
- Excellent SQL Query skills
- Experience working with JDE CNC
- Good to understand tools like SharePoint, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps
- Experience with Tidal Automation and JDE integration with DSI/MEP a plus
- Experience mentoring and developing Junior development team members

- Must be meticulous with a strong analytical background to perform preliminary functional testing
- Ability to achieve results in a dynamic and demanding environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to all levels of employees
