What this role is:
This role is a unique blend of strategic leadership and hands-on execution, designed for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, process optimization, and cost efficiency. As a Sr. IT Transformation Manager, you will play a key role in enabling the IT strategy and vision, ensuring alignment with business needs while driving operational excellence. You'll lead transformation initiatives, facilitate strategy workshops, and execute findings to maximize the value of IT investments.
What this role isn’t:
This is not a purely technical role or an IT support function. While you’ll work closely with IT teams, this role is about strategic planning and execution. It’s also not a passive advisory role—your impact will be measured by how effectively you translate IT strategy into actionable plans.
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Strategic mindset – Experience defining IT strategy and vision, ensuring long-term alignment with business goals.
- Operational excellence – A track record of optimizing IT processes, performance, and service delivery.
- Workshop facilitation – Ability to lead IT strategy workshops, gather insights, and translate findings into action.
- Cost management expertise – Proven ability to assess IT expenditures, optimize budgets, and drive cost savings.
- Management consulting experience (preferred) – Prior experience in a consulting role or advisory capacity is a plus.

- Develop and execute IT strategy and vision to drive operational excellence and cost efficiencies.
- Seek opportunities to harness emerging technology (such as AI) to enhance capabilities in IT, ultimately translating into advantages in time to market, cost, or efficiency benefits.
- Establish roll-up and drill-down strategic roadmaps for IT that align with business goals.
- Drive organizational design and talent management efforts to help ensure the IT organization is efficient and agile while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Implement and track findings from workshops to ensure measurable impact.
- Lead the execution of enterprise-wide software optimization recommendations.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in IT strategy, operations, or a related field.
- Proven ability to develop IT strategy and translate it into execution plans.
- Strong experience facilitating workshops and executing key findings.
- Experience with IT cost optimization, budgeting, and process improvements.
- Management consulting experience preferred (either in-house strategy roles or external consulting).
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or a related field (MBA or relevant certifications a plus).

Compensation:
This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.
$132,700.00 - $246,300.00
