Faherty is looking for a detail-oriented, dedicated, and driven Sr. Analyst to join our fast-paced and collaborative Finance team. This role will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and financial analyses of our growing fleet of stores. In this highly visible role, you will interface with leadership across all segments of the organization and will report to the Head of FP&A and Company Planning. This role is critical to the success of our Retail channel so we are looking for an individual who is extremely analytical, a strong relationship builder, and has a solid understanding of finance, including financial modeling and reporting. Experience in retail finance is considered a very strong plus.
What you’ll do:
- Play a key role in creation and management of monthly and annual forecasting and reporting processes.
- Effectively manage and analyze full Stores P&L for our growing Faherty fleet of stores, including sales and margin forecasting, management of OpEx and CapEx budget.
- Maintain stores payroll model and partner closely with field leadership team to optimize payroll hours against sales targets.
- Maintain dashboards of Key Performance Indicators on a weekly and monthly basis
- Develop the annual budget and long-range plans for the Retail channel in partnership with store operations, HQ business partners, and Real Estate Committee, supporting Faherty’s strategic priorities.
- Play a key role in Real Estate decision-making, managing the capital pipeline, including new store openings, flagship buildout, and retrofits.
- Lead quarterly fleet review process with field leadership team and HQ cross functional partners
- Prepare presentation materials for Founders, Fiduciary Board, Board of Advisors, and Leadership
- Respond to information requests with thorough and organized work product supporting key observations, assumptions, and conclusions.
What you’ll have:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be part of a lean team that wears many hats
- Ability to articulate financial and accounting concepts to non-finance business partners in a clear and concise manner
- Strong work ethic with a motivation to grow and develop
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interface with and influence all levels of management
- Strong problem solving and creative thinking skills
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Finance or related field, demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field, MBA a plus
- Proficient Excel capabilities with experience in analyzing large data sets (will be required to demonstrate capabilities)
- Knowledge of NetSuite a plus
We aim to pay competitively for our size and industry. The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 USD, but we will consider location, skill level and experience to determine the final offer.
