Job Summary

Responsible for supporting the Technology & Product (T&P) organization, a leading Comcast organization that designs, delivers, and supports innovative products and services that bring broadband, wireless, video and voice experiences to residential and business customers. Assists with the development and preparation of budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning process. Collaborates with business partners across Finance and Operations functions. Provides financial analysis support to department leaders. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline.
This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work for Comcast in the United States without a current or potential future need for sponsorship.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Analyzes budget, forecast and long range planning variances.
  • Highly proficient in Excel and PWPT. Prepares presentations to management on actual results, budgets, forecasts, etc.
  • Serves as liaison to both finance and accounting teams and to other departments, management and staff by providing: financial planning experience, financial information and modeling, activity analysis and variance analysis.
  • Interacts with other Finance team members in the preparation and submission of monthly forecast and annual budget and reports including: variances vs. forecast and headcount planning and forecasting.
  • Performs additional Business Operations duties and tasks as required.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
