Roles and Responsibilities

Manage a geographically diverse team responsible for executing the timely billing of Defense Engines, Electrical Power, Avionics, Engineering, GE Research, Dowty and Unison work

Support the timely collection of cash related to the aforementioned billing

Support continuous improvement within the finance organization

Collaborate and partner with Product Line and Finance leadership to deliver results for the broader enterprise
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience

Ability to hold a Secret clearance
-
Familiarity with billing systems and interfaces - Oracle (AMPS, DEBS, ODBS), SAP, Workflows, IBS & Wide Area Workflow (WAWF)

Familiarity with Government Accounting requirements – USG approved Billing rates, unallowable cost, accounting system description, contract closeout

Interpersonal skills – able to effectively work with US government customers (DCMA, DCAA) as well as a variety of internal stakeholders (e.g., Program managers, Engineers, Sourcing team, and Finance, and other company billing/collections organizations including GENPACT)

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.

Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.

Established project management skills.
