Job Description
Renesas RF division comes under the connectivity group, with a focus on delivering smart products for sub-6 5G base stations, Satellite communication, public safety, microwave backhaul, and military/aerospace applications.
We are seeking a motivated and self-driven ATE Test Development engineer to support our qualification and production activities.
- Working closely with the Digital and RF/Analog design leads to understanding the project, specification, and expected performance.
- Work closely with the project engineer to develop the test plan covering all the specification.
- Participate in load board and probe card hardware development – schematic and layout.
- Bring-up the load board and debug it, if required.
- Develop ATE test programs to cover all cases and debug them to get accurate results.
- Run bench to ATE correlation.
- Collaborate with the production team to get the data and present it in a meaningful manner to the design team.
- Support the design team with bring-up and debug in the lab.
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech. + 8 years or M.S./MTech. + 5 years of ATE Test Development and semi-conductor testing on ATE.
- Strong fundamental knowledge of digital, mixed-signal, and RF testing, and hands-on experience in developing test programs in ATE environment for these devices.
- Knowledge of ATE hardware design like load board and probe card. Experience with PCB design tools and signal integrity analysis.
- Knowledge of device characterization and qualification tests like HTOL, ELFR, bHAST, uHAST, etc.
- Knowledge of ATE data extraction and analysis tools like JMP.
- Proven track record of creating test programs from scratch and debugging software and hardware.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of software management tool like Git, and SVN.
- Hands-on experience on UltraFlex and Advantest ATE systems is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of communication standards like SPI, I2C, and I3C is preferred.
- Knowledge of programming languages like Python or Perl is desired.
- Experience in bench testing is good to have.
