As a seasoned Salesforce marketing cloud developer, you will understand business needs across the Wolverine Worldwide portfolio of brands and solve them by architecting elegant, automated programs and technical solutions in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You will communicate with stakeholders, define requirements, manage segmentation, understand data flow, QA, monitor performance, evaluate results, educate others, and document thoroughly. You are an engaged self-starter who actively seeks opportunities to optimize solutions, business metrics, and the customer experience.

  • Execute and optimize marketing and triggered email campaigns to drive a seamless consumer journey through email message HTML coding, proofing, targeting, and advanced scheduling.
  • Deliver email content that is optimized for all viewing experiences across clients, devices, and viewing modes.
  • Leverage Salesforce platform capabilities to deliver custom functionalities.
  • Develop and advise retention team and brand partners on advanced coding solutions and opportunities within the SFMC tool suite.
  • Remain current on Salesforce updates and industry trends. Adapt existing programs and strategies accordingly and surface new opportunities.
  • Review incoming project briefs, develop solutions, communicate with stakeholders, manage workflow, and track any parallel development or dependencies.
  • Partner with brand teams and CRM for alignment of short and long term strategies.
  • Analyze and compile key learnings from email programs in order to optimize performance.
  • Advise teammates on best practices and advanced campaign tactics. Serve as a resource for planning and executing complex projects. Provide expertise on the technologies utilized within the team.
  • Collaborate on behalf of the email marketing team with manager and CRM team on data integration updates.
  • Track, triage, and resolve priority issues in real-time.
  • Enjoy learning and facing technical challenges. Actively pursue personal growth.
  • Pivot to accommodate the adaptive priorities in a retail environment.
  • Perform duties consistent with the Company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
  • Perform other duties as required/assigned by manager.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • 3+ years of email marketing experience with advanced understanding of audience segmentation, lifecycle marketing, triggered messaging, email development best practices, and deliverability.
  • Technical fluency with HTML, CSS, SQL, and AMPscript or equivalent.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience a must.
  • Excellent analytical skills critical. Able to analyze data, understand the story behind the numbers, and be able to formulate and communicate recommendations to business partners.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Working Conditions:

Preference will be given to candidates based in Michigan. However, this role is eligible for 100% remote work for the right candidate.
