About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Director of Advertising Sales to lead a team of overlay Advertising sellers for our Mid-Market team working closely with the core Demandbase Platform Sales teams to cross- and upsell Advertising campaign budgets. 

This role is critical in driving our Sales strategy, achieving revenue targets, and fostering a high-performance culture within the team. You will oversee a team of direct reports and be responsible for expanding our footprint in the B2B Advertising market.

The base compensation range for this role, not including variable pay is: $210,000 - $270,000

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading, mentoring, and managing a team of Advertising Sales professionals to achieve and exceed Sales targets.
  • With the VP, Advertising Sales, establishing overlay structures and processes to partner with core Demandbase Platform sellers
  • Developing and executing strategic Sales plans to expand the customer base and increase revenue.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key partners, customers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product, and Customer Success, to align on goals and strategies.
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth. 
  • Providing accurate Sales forecasts and reports to senior leadership.
  • Ensuring the team adheres to Sales processes, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Driving continuous improvement in Sales techniques, customer engagement, and overall team performance.

What we’re looking for:

  • Success in B2B SaaS or Advertising Sales leadership with between 5-10 years of Sales experience.
  • At least 2-5 years of experience managing and leading high-performing Advertising Sales teams. Experience in overlay team structure is a plus.
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to drive Sales strategies that align with business goals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding Sales targets.
  • Analytical skills and ability to leverage data for decision-making and forecasting. Accurate and repeatable forecasting is a key requirement for being successful in this role.
  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience and understanding of selling to agencies is a plus.
