Position Overview
The Sr. Director, HRBP for GSD will be responsible for supporting two global business units and global R&D function. The successful candidate will is a strategic global HRBP that will lead and support GSD business to build scalable organizational capabilities by attracting, engaging, developing and retaining top talent required for short and long-term business success. The HRBP role will also provide multi-faceted support in all areas, including talent management, workforce and succession planning, leadership coaching & development as well lead business transformation initiatives and change management efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Needs: Understand the strategic needs of the division’s business and align HR strategy to meet those needs.
- Talent Strategy: Translate short- and long-term business needs to ensure the business meets talent requirements and succession planning.
- Consultation: Provide coaching, mentoring, and mentorship to BU and functional leaders to drive business outcomes.
- Organizational Development and Change Leadership: Serve as a motivator for change, devising and communicating solutions related to organizational development, critical capabilities, design, and organizational change. Demonstrate and encourage consistency with our 4i values in everything we do.
- Approach: Translate strategic priorities into innovative talent strategies and solutions that advance attraction, motivation, development, and retention of colleagues.
- Discernment for Business and Data Skill: Use analytics to elevate talent and business capabilities and drive a culture of positivity. Develop an understanding of industry, market, and functional trends to craft business-specific talent strategies.
- Organizational Adaptability and Resolve: Develop proven relationships across the organization and be resourceful in diagnosing and solving people-related challenges. Drive outcomes through teamwork, communication, and resilience.
- Project/Process Management: Coordinate HR resources and priorities to ensure the successful implementation of initiatives. Lead assigned group and/or division projects to support the advancement of business and HR objectives.
- 10-15% travel as needed.
Education
B.A. or B.S. degree required. Advanced degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or Business preferred.
Experience
- 15 years of demonstrable leadership experience in a progressive HR environment as a strategic partner for growth and mature businesses.
- Senior global level HR experience in large multi-national companies, supporting international organizations through various business transformations.
- Strong proficiency and knowledge of HR functions, including talent management, talent acquisition, total rewards, and employee relations.
- Experience collaborating across a sophisticated organizational matrix and successful collaborator management.
Proven ability to translate business strategies into organizational and HR strategies effectively.
- Experience as a strong HR partner with credibility as a trusted advisor and confidant to senior management on business/functional issues and strategy.
- Have a growth mindset and operate with agility and flexibility, with a bias for action in problem solving and creative solutioning.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $210,200.00–$312,275.00.
