The Senior Director of Global Operations is chartered to lead the development and administration of operational repeatable processes, process improvement, and capability solutioning, to drive operational excellence and sales enablement. This role works cross functionally to create the overall technical vision for a specific solution to a business problem.  

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross functional teams to develop repeatable processes for core capabilities and new service offerings.
  • Play a lead operational role in new contract transition planning and execution for major programs
  • Support major projects by working with leaders to improve quality, delivery and customer engagement.
  • Participate in the full application life cycle from technical design to development, testing, and deployment.
  • Assist in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving defects encountered during various stages of project delivery, including during the deployment and implementation of the solution in production environments.
  • Lead turn around and improvement efforts for struggling programs across Acuity’s Integrated Mission Solutions and Global Health Solutions business units.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in progressive operational leadership roles for sizable projects or programs over $100M across multiple projects
  • Demonstrated experience leading process development across multiple offerings and domains
  • 10+ years’ experience leading technology integration as key operational stakeholder
  • Demonstrated experience leading turn around efforts for large projects
  • Demonstrated experience leading large scale transitions ($50M+ in annual revenue)
  • 10+ years leading OCONUS and contingency programs
  • 5-7 years implementing integration projects 
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • PMP certification or Lean Six Sigma or equivalent certifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading or sponsoring technology integration
  • Strong written and oral presentation skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Excellent organizational skills 
  • Proven ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously 
  • Strong initiative 
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
