Senior DevOps Engineer

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure and deployment pipelines. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with OpenShift and a strong background in automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices. This role requires a proactive individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and has a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment efficiency and reliability.
  • Maintain and optimize openshift clusters to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with development teams to automate workflows and improve productivity.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure stability and security.
  • Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for all infrastructure and deployment processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to suggest improvements and innovations.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a DevOps role.
  • Proven experience with OpenShift and container orchestration.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
