We are seeking a Sr. Data Scientist to join us as we build cutting-edge technology solutions! This is your opportunity to be part of a team committed to delivering best-in-class service to our customers.
In this role you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of advanced scoring and indexing models to evaluate and predict various business outcomes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate data science solutions into operational processes and inform strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data analysis techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of advanced scoring and indexing models to evaluate and predict various business outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, identify opportunities for model application, and integrate data science solutions into operational processes.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis, including data mining, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling, to derive insights and inform model development.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of scoring models by implementing rigorous validation and testing protocols.
- Communicate complex model methodologies and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing actionable recommendations based on model outputs.
- Stay current with the latest developments in data science, particularly in the area of scoring and indexing models, and evaluate emerging technologies for potential application within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in business analytics, with a focus on subscriptions.
- 8+ years of experience with SQL, with bonus points for familiarity with SparkSQL, Databricks, or Azure Data Explorer.
- Proficiency in a statistical programming language such as Python or PySpark.
- Able to work in a collaborative, diverse, and fast-paced team environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, verbal, visual, and written communication skills.
Salary Range
Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: $130,000 to $145,000 USD/annually. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
