About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer proficient in SQL, Python, Snowflake, Data Modelling to join our team.
This is a great opportunity to work directly with the different business functions supporting monthly reporting and ad hoc requests. This person will work closely with FP&A team but will also support other business functions like Sales and Marketing and will be a part of the Sales Finance team.
You will be required to work the evening shift (3pm-12am).
What You'll Do:
- Develop, Maintain and optimize data pipelines using Matillion, SQL, Python for Snowflake data warehouse.
- Design and implement Data Models in Snowflake to support business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements.
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the ETL process, including error handling and monitoring.
- Monitor and troubleshoot ETL workflows, identify and resolve issues.
- Optimize and tune data pipelines for performance and efficiency.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Data Engineering and ETL development and processes
- Strong in SQL and experience in Python
- Strong data modelling skills are necessary for designing a schema that can accommodate the evolution of data sources and facilitate seamless data joins across various datasets.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including data loading, transformation, and querying.
- Strong understanding data warehousing, data marts, data lakes, dimensional modelling and design
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualification:
- Experience with Airflow
- Experience with Matillion
- Experience working in SFDC
