Sr. Data Architect - Contract to Hire
The Sr. Data Architect role will play a pivotal role in integrating diverse data sources into production-ready data models to support organizational goals. This position demands strong collaboration with business and technical teams to align with business strategies and objectives, ensuring requirements are fulfilled throughout the entire data and analytics lifecycle.

- Lead and design data architecture initiatives, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and efficient.
- Develop and implement data governance frameworks, ensuring proper management, security, and compliance of data.
- Design and implement multidimensional and tabular data models to support business and analytics needs.
- Lead the development of ETL/ELT processes, ensuring alignment with optimization and scheduling best practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable data architecture plans.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements for data systems, ensuring high performance and data quality.
- Drive business impact through technical solutions and alignment with business success metrics.
- Lead data integration efforts, focusing on modern data platforms, including cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, Snowflake).
- Mentor team members and foster a collaborative environment across cross-functional teams.
- Document solution architecture and perform design and analysis work to achieve business objectives

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, or Data Analyst, with at least 5 years in senior data architecture roles.
- Proven experience with designing, implementing, and optimizing complex data architectures.
- Expertise in data warehousing, data modeling, and data integration (SQL, NoSQL, cloud platforms, ETL tools).
- Strong experience with cloud-based platforms and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake).
- Knowledge of data governance principles, including data lineage, metadata management, and data security best practices.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities in driving data transformation initiatives and guiding technical teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI.
- Hands-on experience with data warehouse modeling methodologies.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
- Experience with real-time and large-batch data pipelines.
- Familiarity with machine learning and predictive analytics.
Work Environment:
- Remote work from home.
- Hours of work and days are generally Monday through Friday. Specific business hours will depend on client needs.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- The person in this position must occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, library stacks, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and printer.
- The person in this position frequently communicates with clients and coworkers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
