Senior Cost Accountant
Evaluates and interprets complex financial statements to determine manufacturing costs. Identifies areas that are driving up production cost and proposes ways to reduce manufacturing costs. Models cost impact of manufacturing changes (e.g., design, materials, labor, or manufacturing methods).
About the job:
Identifies trends where the manufacturing process is not tracking vs plan from a cost perspective. Proposes potential solutions to close gaps.
Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports; ensures information is accurate.
Ensures that processes and reports are accurate and in compliance with corporate policies.
Drives awareness around profitability to all levels of the business unit; increases focus on lowering manufacturing costs to promote profitable growth.

About you:
Education: Bachelor's or university degree Preferred in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA preferred
Experience: Five to seven years of related work experience
Deep knowledge of manufacturing and manufacturing cost analysis
Experience with global manufacturing companies preferred
Advanced knowledge of MS Office
Strong analytical skills
Strong communication skills
High attention to detail
CPA preferred
