THE HIGH LEVEL

Iron Bow is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator to negotiate, administer, and manage assigned contracts and subcontracts, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, federal regulations, and customer requirements. This role involves preparing, analyzing, negotiating, and modifying contracts related to the purchase or sale of goods or services, while proactively identifying and mitigating contractual risk.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Manage and administer contracts and subcontracts with manufacturers, service providers, suppliers, and customer customers.
  • Analyze contracts to assess risks, obligations, and financial impact, providing recommendations for risk mitigation.
  • Negotiate and draft a variety of agreements, including non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, purchase orders, subcontracts, and other contractual instruments.
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations (FAR, DFARS, TAA, BAA) and internal company policies.
  • Support bid and proposal processes, reviewing contractual terms and conditions for incoming solicitations.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to ensure contract terms align with business goals and operational needs.
  • Maintain accurate contract records and documentation, ensuring all agreements and modifications are properly stored and tracked.
  • Assist in dispute resolution by identifying issues early and working collaboratively toward resolutions.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field required or additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree
  • 5 to 7 years’ experience in contract administration, preferably in the federal government space (VA experience strongly preferred).
  • Strong working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, TAA, and BAA, and other relevant federal procurement regulations.
  • Experience managing subcontracts is a plus.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organization, problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) are required.
  • Ability to handle multiple contracts and priorities simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
  • Hybrid work model with remote work flexibility.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

There is approximately 5% travel requirement for this position.
