What Organizational Health and Labor Relations contributes to Cardinal Health
Organizational Health & Labor Relations is responsible for promoting positive employee relations and monitoring employee trends that may escalate to adverse labor or workplace action(s). If those actions take place, Organizational Health and Labor Relations operationalizes resources to ensure direct employer-employee relationships.
Responsibilities
Organizational Health Engagement (OHE) Facilitation:

Partners with employees and leadership teams to build healthy culture.

Performs operational culture engagements at distribution and manufacturing facilities.

Gathers employee feedback through focus groups and other interactions.
-
Educates leadership teams on union awareness and best-demonstrated practices
-
Analyzes employee feedback to determine themes
-
Presents findings to leadership and recommends important actions.
-
Provides post-engagement follow-up.
-
Conducts 15-20 engagements, annually.
-
Travels to facilities 50% of time, with short notice at times.
Project Support and Labor Relations:
- Develops programs, tools and processes to promote organizational health, leadership effectiveness, and employee engagement.
- Publishes educational labor relations materials for Operations and HR managers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience preferred

4+ years’ experience in related field preferred

Experience working with frontline operations employees within distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, etc.

In-depth knowledge of HR policies and practices

English/Spanish Bilingual preferred

Ability to work independently and take initiative

Ability to establish relationships with hourly employees and multi-level leadership

Strong empathy and influencing skills

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Teams, PowerPoint and social media

Ability to travel 50% of time
