You will be a member

Purchasing Team focus on strategic planning and executing the timely procurement on material, parts and services, which need to fulfill the production plans at one or more assigned locations. A job at this level typically prioritizes and proceeds with routine activities described by own judgement under consideration of work routines and guidelines. Solving occurring issues, and/or regularly communicating with a range of stakeholder concerned with or affected by own work. This job needs to establish and monitor cost to identify and implement continual improvement for opportunities. 採購團隊專注於策略規劃並及時購足在一個或多個指定地點完成生產計畫所需的材料、零件和服務。該工作需要根據VISHAY工作慣例和指導方針進行, 並需要自己的專業判斷確定優先順序並進行採購行為。須主動解決發生的問題並定期與關注或受自身工作影響的關係單位人員溝通。這項工作需要建立和監控成本以持續優化成本結構。

What you will be doing:

• Developing and maintaining work relations with assigned suppliers.

• Monitoring spending of operation, supporting material control and delivery plans if urgent shipments required.

• Negotiating /reviewing contracts for specific conditions of delivery parts, materials or services.

• Ensuring timely procurement and order management on spare parts and materials are appropriately delivered. Supplier assessment, performance reporting and clarifying claims.

• Supply chain strategy development includes supply chain analysis, vendor development, and new material development.

• Maintaining/working closely with internal customers and suppliers to ensure user needs.

• Fostering a customer-first centric approach to solving issues.

What you will bring along:

• • 8+ years’ experience in supply chain or supplier management, fulfillment management, demand and supply planning, sourcing, supply chain strategy or related fields.

• • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply chain management.

• • Deep understanding of supply chain concepts, production methodologies.

• • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese.

• •Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical support team.
