About the Role
The Business Technology team at Uber Freight is looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst / Product Owner to help deliver on our Brokerage Support Tech Strategy and Roadmap. This role is centered on optimizing support systems, enhancing analytics, and refining processes to empower our support organization to increase efficiency and effectiveness. It serves as a critical bridge between business and development teams to accelerate engineering velocity and business priorities. The ideal candidate should be proactive and analytically driven, with a proven record of delivering impactful business outcomes through process and technology.
What the Candidate Will Do
- Discovery: Conduct thorough discovery sessions and workshops with Operations teams to capture detailed business and technical requirements aligned with strategic business goals.
- Solution Design: Architect and deliver robust solutions that address critical support needs, ensuring scalable and sustainable impact on performance. Author Product Requirement Documents (User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, etc.) and contribute to Engineering Requirement Documents.
- Implementation: Write test scripts, lead user acceptance testing, and proactively resolve engineering challenges to ensure smooth and timely go-lives. Work with key stakeholders post-launch to troubleshoot unexpected challenges and secure successful project delivery.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Operations, Program Management, and Tech teams to develop, influence, and execute roadmaps, while effectively communicating progress and changes across various levels throughout the project lifecycle.
- Advanced Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot Python scripts to ensure support environment stability and know when to escalate to developers for more complex use cases.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years as a Business Systems Analyst, Technical Product Manager/Owner, or a similar role in Tech implementations focusing on Omni Channel Support.
- Proven Experience with large-scale Zendesk, Dynamics 365, Salesforce Service Cloud, or relevant enterprise support tech design and implementations.
- Intermediate knowledge of SQL, Python, or Automation and Scripting Skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple programs independently, prioritize tasks, and handle simultaneous assignments effectively.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Industry Experience: Prior experience in the logistics, freight, or transportation industry
- Certifications in Zendesk, Dynamics 365, Salesforce Certifications, or relevant enterprise support applications
- Genesys Cloud or equivalent Contact Center and/or Omni Channel support experience
- Experience gathering requirements and testing complex integrations requiring middleware solutions such as MuleSoft or similar.
