About the Role:
The Business Operations Analyst at Sabre plays a critical role in bridging strategy and execution, ensuring the commercial team operates with both discipline and agility.
This position provides crucial analytics, strategic insights, and operational support to enable data-driven decision-making and business growth.By leveraging analytical expertise and process optimization, this role will empower Sabre’s commercial teams to seize opportunities, mitigate risks, and drive sustained success in South Asia’s competitive travel technology landscape.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Execution & Decision Implementation

  • Work closely with the Regional leadership Team (both Brick & Mortar Leader and OTA leader) to support the effective execution of commercial decisions.
  • Implement regional strategies as defined by the Regional leadership team, reinforcing Sabre’s position as a leading GDS provider.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for business growth.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Optimization

  • Act as the central link between Customer Care, Billing, Sales Enablement, Finance, PTC (Product Technology Consulting), Training, and Marketing to ensure seamless execution of business objectives.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness across all teams.
  • Establish structured workflows and best practices to ensure alignment across internal stakeholders.

Data Analytics & Business Intelligence

  • Develop, manage, and automate reports to track and forecast sales performance across India and South Asia.
  • Build and schedule regular and ad-hoc reports to provide commercial teams with actionable insights.
  • Use data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik View, Power BI etc) to translate complex data into meaningful narratives for leadership and sales teams.

Sales Pipeline & Opportunity Management

  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and develop new business opportunities, supporting pipeline growth and optimization.
  • Ensure the accuracy and maintenance of Salesforce records, reinforcing CRM best practices.
  • Assist in pipeline forecasting and revenue tracking to support business planning.

Deal Approval & Customer Insights

  • Guide the commercial team through complex deal approval processes, ensuring due diligence and strategic alignment.
  • Analyse customer insights to craft tailored solutions and strategies that enhance customer experience and engagement.
  • Regularly evaluate customer needs, identifying trends that can drive new product adoption and improved service delivery.

Presentation & Communication Strategy

  • Create compelling presentations and reports for leadership, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Support the marketing team in executing campaigns, customer engagement initiatives, and industry events.
  • Work with PR teams to amplify Sabre’s success stories and achievements externally.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in business analysis, operations management, or a similar role within the travel technology industry or related sectors.
  • Strong understanding of data analytics, process optimization, and sales strategy execution.
  • Proven experience in translating market trends and customer insights into actionable business strategies.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (preferably Salesforce) and sales pipeline management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data and insights in a clear and persuasive manner.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
