Meet the team:
The Business Intelligence team supports key areas of data management, data analytics, business/strategic intelligence, research, dashboard development, reporting, and simple applications development and support. As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, you’ll be key in turning complex data into meaningful insights that guide strategic decisions. You will also provide service performance insights to key stakeholders, evaluating service delivery against expected performance standards. You will monitor service delivery to proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement in coordination with the key stakeholders. Additionally, you will establish and monitor the following: KPI/SLA standards on compliance, quality, efficiency, and effectiveness; throughput (volume); and talent (HR).
Where you come in:
• You will lead the extraction, transformation, and analysis of complex data using SQL to provide critical insights that support business decisions.
• You will design and develop impactful data visualizations in Tableau, making complex information accessible and actionable for stakeholders.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, translating them into data-driven solutions that enhance decision-making.
• You will analyze data from both internal and external sources to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks to drive strategic initiatives.
• You will monitor productivity and occupancy metrics and provide in-depth analysis and forecasting of workforce requirements to support efficient operations.
• You will manage, review, and update key performance indicators (KPIs) in consultation with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• You will perform other tasks as deemed necessary to meet evolving business needs, contributing to a flexible and responsive team environment.
What makes you successful:
• You bring in 5+ years of relevant experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or reporting-related roles, giving you the ability to manage and interpret complex data.
• You are an expert in Tableau, with a preference for Tableau certification, ensuring you can create impactful visualizations that drive business decisions.
• You are experienced in predictive and prescriptive analytics, enhancing your ability to provide forward-looking insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
• You have good familiarity with database structures and integration procedures, allowing for smooth data management and system integration.
• You have experience with data preparation and analytics tools like SQL and Google BigQuery, enabling efficient data processing and analysis.
• You bring in proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, to effectively communicate data insights and service delivery reports.
• Experience in app development using PowerApps and Power Automate is preferred, showcasing your ability to develop practical solutions that enhance data accessibility and process efficiency.
• Lean Six Sigma certification is desirable, reflecting your commitment to continuous improvement and process optimization within finance operations.
Experience and Education Requirements:
• You typically require a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 5-8 years related experience or master’s degree plus 2-5 years industry experience or PhD plus 0-2 years industry experience.
