This role is responsible for providing data and insights to support performance-based strategies for sales and marketplace vertical. As an expert in understanding client goals and KPIs, the analyst will recommend approaches to achieve these objectives across the organization. The role will influence the growth of the strategic account strategy and overall revenue through data-driven insights and analyses of activities on Cox Automotive Consumer Solutions platforms and products. Insights will be delivered via standard and ad hoc analyses and will support informed decision-making by internal stakeholders and external clients.We are seeking a dynamic professional to strengthen relationships with sales teams and clients, driving the development and execution of client goals through data insights and benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Building: Collaborate with sales and clients to understand and achieve their strategic goals using data-driven insights.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with finance, pricing, product, sales, operations, marketing, and analytics teams to enhance performance through data analysis.
  • Performance Optimization : Design and implement effective visualizations, systems, and tools that facilitate performance improvements.
  • Client Strategy Development: Use data strategies to recommend optimal product pairings for key clients.
  • Sales Coaching: Equip sales teams with data and insights to effectively communicate the value of Consumer Solutions products and demonstrate client ROI.
  • Client Engagement: Participate in client reviews to link value delivered with performance outcomes.
  • Market Positioning: Analyze trends to strategically position Consumer Solutions across various client segments.
  • Advanced Reporting: Provide in-depth, ad-hoc reporting that delivers actionable insights and compelling narratives.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors, such as Vistadash, to leverage competitive data.
  • Insight Translation: Simplify complex data into actionable insights for non-analytic stakeholders.
  • Report Development: Create and enhance report prototypes and maintain custom dashboards to deliver actionable insights.


Discovery & Requirements Shaping:

  • Research & Solutions : Conduct independent research to explore solution options based on the current data model and future enhancements.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with stakeholders and Analytics Consultants to define key actions and outcomes.
  • Requirements Support : Assist Senior Analytics Leadership and Dealer Sales Team in establishing reporting and analysis requirements.
  • Data Accuracy Improvement: Ensure the accuracy and enhancement of analytics data capture, systems, and tools.
  • Special Projects: Participate in special projects and other assigned duties.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4 years' experience in a related field. The right
  • candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 2 years'
  • experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 8 years' experience in a related field
  • Requires strong knowledge of writing SQL queries from scratch or altering existing code.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization
  • Microsoft Excel including the creation and use of Pivot tables and advanced formulas
  • Must be comfortable navigating large, complex and possibly disparate data sets and transforming and/or joining from those sets using SQL.
  • Must be able to learn and use digital analytics technology (e.g. Alteryx, Snowflake, Adobe Analytics, MicroStrategy, PowerBI)


Preferred

  • Experience in automotive industry desired
  • 2+ years of sales/marketing/account management/industry experience
  • Experience presenting to large groups and simplifying complex ideas
  • Statistical programming language (SAS, R, Python, etc.)
  • Experience to workflows powered by Alteryx preferred.
  • Preferred Location : Atlanta GA, The ideal candidate will be located in the Eastern or Central time zone.


USD 85,500.00 - 128,300.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $85,500.00 - $128,300.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members.
