Overview
The Blue Yonder Sr Business Consultant provides process and functional product expertise on customer implementations of BY solutions. They work closely with the customer to understand their business needs and align a quality solution that adds business value.
Responsibilities
- Ability to prepare and deliver presentations for user, management, and executive level audiences
- Provides advice to customers regarding industry best practices and process methodology building trust
- Participate in business process analysis/design, construction, validation, and deployment phases of the project. Understands how the JDA solutions within area of focus can be configured and delivered to better facilitate customer business processes
- Develops functional specifications of sound design for modifications, interfaces, reports and screens that achieve customers' business objectives
- Creates and modifies procedural and system documentation throughout the project
- Develops and executes test scripts to ensure JDA software consistently meets the customer's business objectives
- Provides non-technical support during the "go-live" period. Provides primary user support and verifies that the system provides the required business functions and maintains data integrity
- Recognizes and highlights incremental revenue opportunities with existing customers / projects
- Serves in a supporting functional role while attending and contributing to key meetings between the JDA project stakeholders, customer stakeholders, and corresponding leadership teams
- Ensures knowledge transfer is conducted with key customer project team
- Communicates business cases to PMG and PD regarding customer specific needs related to product functionality and enhancements
- Communicates the value proposition of JDA’s solutions to our customers
- Clearly understand customer’s business requirement and clarify any misunderstanding between different business users
- Escalates issues that may have negative scheduling or financial impact
- Estimates specifications accurately
- Works with project team to understand and help to provide detail functional requirements from functional specifications
- Works closely with the customer team to guide them through all phases of the project
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Engineering or other relevant discipline; MSc/PhD. in Industrial Engineering, Warehouse & Logistics, Operational Research, Management or related field preferred
- Supply chain execution experience in retail, manufacturing and 3PL businesses
- Familiar with warehouse processes
- Ability to manage customer expectations inregards to functional issues
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent presentation and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

The salary range for this position is $85,788 - $108,212 USD.
The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.

The Anglian Water's @one Alliance is a partnership consisting of 8 companies, who each provide specialised knowledge allowing the @one Alliance to deliver complex delivery projects in the most efficient way, reducing the cost to Anglian Water’s customers.
