Job Description:

The role:  

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Sr. Brand Manager - Global to join our marketing team. The Sr. Brand Manager - Global, plays a pivotal role in defining, implementing, and driving global product marketing strategies for Beauty Health Inc.’s portfolio of devices in the medical aesthetics space. This leader shapes the strategic direction and product roadmap (including segmentation, value proposition development, competitive positioning, pricing, claims, etc.), leading to excellence in product launches and lifecycle management across B2B (Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, Med Spas, Spas) and B2C (Aesthetic Treatment Consumers). They will bridge upstream innovation and downstream execution, collaborating with regional and functional teams, and ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer and consumer insights, and organizational growth plans. 

 

The ideal candidate is an experienced marketer with a strategic mindset, a strong ability to analyze market trends, and a proven track record in cross-functional leadership. They bring expertise in upstream innovation, market research, end-to-end product management, and go-to-market (GTM) planning including creative campaign and asset development. 

 

What you’ll do: 

Upstream Innovation and Lifecycle Management 

  • Drive global product innovation by identifying unmet market needs through comprehensive market research, voice-of-customer (VOC) initiatives, and competitive analysis. 

  • Develop comprehensive marketing plans including value proposition, messaging, key claims, customer segmentation and targeting, pricing and evidence-based strategy. 

  • Collaborate with R&D, clinical, and regulatory teams to guide new product development and ensure alignment with market requirements. 

  • Develop and present compelling business cases to support investment in new product initiatives. 

  • Manage the lifecycle of the device product portfolio and its products throughout their lifespan. 

 

GTM Strategy Development 

  • Partner with regional marketing teams to co-create GTM strategies, including target segments, value propositions and positioning frameworks.  

  • Facilitate alignment between global and regional teams to ensure buy-in and seamless transition of strategic ownership for execution. 

  • Lead pricing & P&L models, global rollout, claims development, asset and campaign development and messaging. 

 

Market Insights and Analytics 

  • Create business cases for new market and concept ideas that include strategic fit, market sizing & financial modeling, high level unmet needs definition, competitive landscape, commercial implications, and go or no-go recommendations. 

  • Establish frameworks for capturing market insights and incorporating them into product development and strategy refinement. 

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Leadership 

  • Serve as the strategic liaison between R&D, clinical, and regulatory functions, ensuring alignment throughout the product development process. 

  • Act as the upstream marketing lead guiding product development teams, ensuring that products meet clinical, regulatory, and commercial requirements. 

  • Build strong partnerships with regional marketing teams, fostering collaboration to adapt global strategies to local market needs. 

 

What you need to know: 

Experience/Skills/Education 

  • 7+ years' experience in upstream marketing or product management within the medical aesthetics device category. 

  • Demonstrated success in driving global product innovation and strategy development. Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, ability to identify actionable insights. 

  • Problem-solver with a proactive approach, exceptional collaboration, and interpersonal skills. 

  • Expertise in product lifecycle management, from concept development to market strategy handoff to end of life. 

  • Adept at creating and presenting impactful, executive-level business cases. 

  • Knowledge of global regulatory environments and their strategic implications. 

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and juggle. 

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and manage relationships with global stakeholders. 

  • Creative, strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and brand building and campaign development. 

  • Experience partnering with Creative, Copy, Regulatory and Legal on Visual and Verbal global asset development. 

 

Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, Business, Marketing, or a related field 

  • MBA preferred

(Base Salary Pay Range: $130,000 - $150,000)

An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of BeautyHealth’s total rewards package for our employees.
