Why This Role Is Valuable
As part of the Revantage Transactions Team, the Sr. AVP Transactions will directly support the transaction onboarding function aligning business objectives with operational readiness. They will regularly interface with internal departments, law firms, deal teams and the Asset Managers at Blackstone. They will optimize processes to deliver high-impact internal initiatives and lead efforts to move the workstreams forward. This position involves collaborating with various stakeholders to support strategic objectives, overseeing integrations and stakeholder management across multiple asset classes. The Sr. AVP will be responsible for proactive client engagement, operational efficiency and synergy realization and ensuring high-quality reporting and analysis to drive successful outcomes. This position is based out of our Dallas, TX or Chicago, IL office.
How You Add Value
- Project Leadership: Oversee all phases of target company onboarding projects, including due diligence and integration, ensuring projects are completed on time and resources are deployed efficiently with proper consideration to Company objectives and cross-functional requirements while driving change management efforts that foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and accountability
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, legal teams, finance, and operational departments, to facilitate smooth project execution. Develop relationships and work effectively with Blackstone Asset Management Team, portfolio companies, potential acquisition targets, and internal stakeholders
- Due Diligence: Coordinate and manage the due diligence process, mitigating potential risks, identifying opportunities, and ensuring comprehensive analysis of onboarding target companies while managing vendors and vendor negotiations
- Integration Planning: Develop and implement integration strategies post-acquisition, ensuring seamless transition and alignment of business operations.
- Presentation and Communication: Produce presentations, analyses, company overviews, transaction alternatives, and strategy. Protect highly confidential information, both internally and externally, and use discretion in communications
- Reporting: Prepare and present project updates, financial reports, and strategic recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement best practices in target company onboarding project management, contribute to the development of internal processes and tools and developing, and mentoring talent.
- Company Initiative Support: Single Point of Contact for the department in leading and executing enterprise-wide initiatives and other requests
- Travel: Travel may be required for new business development and integration efforts
What You Bring To The Role
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance Business Administration or a related field
- 10 years of business integration experience, preferably within the real estate industry
- Demonstrated experience in project managing transactions workflow
- Experience leading and managing cross-functional transaction teams and direct reports
- Demonstrated proactive approach to leading transactions initiatives
- Strong understanding of M&A processes
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Expertise in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Teams, SharePoint, etc.) and experience with multi-dimensional database and data repository tools preferred
- Unquestioned integrity and ability to properly manage confidential processes and information
Base Compensation Range :
$175,000.00 To $260,000.00. This represents the presently-anticipated low and high end of the Company's base compensation range for this position. Actual base compensation range may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
Total Direct Compensation : This job is also eligible for discretionary bonus and incentive compensation on an annual basis.
Benefits : The Company provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
