What You Will Do

As a Sr. Automation Engineer, you’ll be part of a team working on projects to improve existing or create new assembly methods for products in our growing portfolio. Projects range from fixturing to complex automation, including robots and cobots. You’ll design and prototype innovative manufacturing systems, integrating them into both new and existing assembly lines. Project success is validated through testing in the lab or at factory sites. In this role, you will:

  • Research, analyze, and implement new manufacturing engineering practices.
  • Perform complex manufacturing engineering tasks using advanced principles.
  • Conduct technical investigations.
  • Plan and manage technical aspects of projects, offering recommendations as needed.
  • Ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
  • Deliver technical presentations and provide support to customers and suppliers.
  • Mentor and serve as an expert resource for junior engineers.

What You Will Bring

  • Required Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • Preferred Degree: BSME, MET, or Mechatronics degree.
  • Minimum 5-7 years' experience in small components assembly.
  • Manufacturing/Assembly process mapping and understanding costing elements.
  • Strong understanding of robotics/cobots and vision in assembly process development.
  • Design of electromechanical equipment or systems.

  • The expected annual base salary range for this role is $95,000 - $120,000. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
