Why This Role Is Valuable
The Workday Engineer will be responsible for partnering with business stakeholders to define, build, and implement Financial Systems applications, reports, integrations and/or functionality, utilizing EIBs, Cloud Connectors, Workday Studio, BIRT, and Workday reports. The Workday Engineer will be actively involved in administering the Workday application. This position also involves documenting business processes and coordinating all aspects of system integration projects from initiation to delivery.
How You Add Value

• Administer and maintain Workday HCM and Financial modules ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Use Workday's integration tools (such as Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), and Workday Web Services) to design, build, and maintain integrations between Workday and third-party applications (e.g., payroll, benefits, time tracking, finance systems)
• Utilize Workday's REST and SOAP APIs for real-time data exchange with other systems.
• Support Workday upgrade projects and implementation of new features
• Monitor integration jobs for failures, and ensure proper error logging and remediation steps are followed
• Perform periodic updates to integrations, ensuring compatibility with new Workday releases and maintaining compliance with regulatory changes.
• Keep current with Workday product updates and new features related to integration tools

What You Bring To The Role
Required:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related business experience
• Proficiency in Workday integration tools (Workday Studio, EIB, Workday Web Services), knowledge of XML, XSLT, SOAP, RESTful services, and web services.
• Deep understanding of Workday HCM modules, including Core HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, and Time Tracking
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work within a team environment
• Workday certifications (e.g. HCM, Financials) is a HUGE plus
