Equipped with an array of skills in data science, engineering, and analytics, this team orchestrates the flow of data across our growing company while ensuring data accessibility, accuracy, and security. About the Role

Workday is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Analytics Tools and Platform Engineer Associate to support the administration, development, and maintenance of analytics platforms across the organization. This role is ideal for someone looking to build expertise in data analytics tools, platform management, and system integrations while contributing to impactful data-driven initiatives.

Responsibilities

The incumbent will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

  • Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of analytics platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, Sigma Analytics, and Alteryx.
  • Monitor platform performance and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure seamless operation.
  • Provide first-level support to analytics users, addressing queries and resolving basic platform issues.
  • Help conduct training sessions and create documentation to guide users in leveraging analytics tools effectively.
  • Assist in implementing access controls and maintaining adherence to data governance and security protocols.
  • Support efforts to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Stay updated on new features, tools, and technologies in the analytics space.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance platform efficiency and user experience.

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ year prior experience in a data analysis role
  • Exposure to analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, or equivalent
  • Basic understanding of SQL, data integration concepts, and ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Certifications in any analytics tools (e.g., Tableau Desktop Specialist).
