The Sr Analyst, R&D - Commercialization is responsible for delivering small to medium scale projects within specific brands/categories, including but not limited to new platform innovation initiatives, broad brand maintenance work and cost out initiatives. The Associate Manager is required to interface with cross functional parties at all levels of the organization, including relevant brand stewards in Marketing, R&D, and Finance, as well as relevant technical and execution resources and/or field operations. In addition, the Associate Manager will play a key role in strategic governance forums like Stage Gate.
Key Components
- Support Business and Manufacturing Systems initiatives as required and support the continuous improvement of the commercialization process through collaboration with key stakeholders and best practice sharing.
- Lead and/or participate in various category stakeholder governance forums (i.e. Stage gate/Leadership teams), advise on project status and conformance to business governance rules.
- Lead commercialization efforts for projects across the BUs, platform innovation programs or significant capital related initiatives. Ensure effective team engagement which may include establishing and managing team meetings. Review project timelines and cost regularly with the project team, facilitate creation of mitigation/contingency plans and manage communication.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the development and implementation of a broad, coordinated set of projects to meet the revenue, volume, growth, productivity and quality goals and priorities of the BU and category.
- Facilitate the definition of project scopes, goals, tasks and resource (people and cost) requirements; resolve or assist in the resolution of conflicts within and between projects or functional groups; develop methods to monitor and report project progress and provide corrective action if necessary.
- Initiate the finished good Master data setup and communicate completed information to all stakeholders so all information systems can be properly set up to produce, ship, sell and invoice our products.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in related field.
- 3+ years of experience in CPG environment.
- Understanding of project management methodology.
