Position Summary:

The Sr. Alternative Investment Operations Analyst encompasses the responsibilities of reviewing and assuring proper settlement of execution of FX, MM, NDFs, interest rate swaps, options, repos, along with any other products executed by the Treasury Desk. The individual is responsible for ensuring daily account reconciliations and the timely processing of securities and cash movements to meet collateral requirements. Collaborates closely with Finance team to ensure accurate accounting and regulatory reporting, including the handling of documentation (agreements, confirmations, etc). Additionally, the individual must have experience with all aspects of securities settlement (Fixed Income & Equities), as well as comprehensive knowledge of cash and securities reconciliation processes. Must be detail-oriented and must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
The Sr. Alternative Investment Operations Analyst reports to Alternative Investment Operations Manager.

Position Duties / Responsibilities:

• Assist in the daily monitoring of options, FXs, repos, money market instruments, and NDF transactions, including margin control and related notifications. Initiate same-currency transfers between accounts to facilitate securities settlement, collateral management, and liquidity metric reporting for repos. Execute all settlement payments for these products and notify the trading desk of any last-minute payments or projected overdrafts.

• Review securities and cash positions between the bank and custodians to ensure accuracy. Manage trade confirmations and promptly notify the trading desk of any discrepancies.

• Coordinate with Finance team to investigate unreconciled securities and cash items, and support accurate regulatory reporting.

• Other duties as assigned or requested by immediate supervisor.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience 

Business Experience:

3 - 5 years of relevant experience or demonstrated required level of proficiency

Specialized and/or Technical Knowledge:

• Knowledge of financial products: options, FX, repos, NDFs, and money market instruments.
• Knowledgeable of cash and securities reconciliations.
• Understanding of collateral management and margin control.
• Securities settlement expertise, including trade life cycle and settlement mechanics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Organizational skills and time-management skills.
• Proactive, with an ability to suggest improvements.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, emphasis in Excel.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Multitask & flexible.
• Strong judgment and ability to use discretion and make decision within guidelines.

Languages:

English, required. Spanish, is a plus.

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Base Pay Range

Minimum:

$50,625.00 USD

Maximum:

$85,000.00 USD
