You will be tasked with:
- Organizing, controlling, and conducting the company's accounting activities to ensure they meet legal standards and provide clear, timely financial information.
- Managing the organization's tax payments.
- Providing necessary accounting and financial data to regulatory authorities.
- Producing financial and accounting reports for managerial decision-making.
Your responsibilities will also include:
- Enforcing IFRS standards, verifying their application and efficacy.
- Causating the company's accounting records in line with legal and fiscal stipulations.
- Executing and reviewing periodic closings as defined by the company.
- Compiling and authenticating interim and annual financial statements, including notes, following prevailing regulations.
- Delivering reports as demanded by business units, audit institutions, and the statutory auditor regarding relevant matters.
Requisitos
- University degree in accounting with a valid professional license.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role. - Comprehensive knowledge of accounting and tax regulations in Colombia (experience with other countries in the region is an advantage).
- Analytical, innovative and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication, presentation and reporting skills.
- English at B2 level or above (mandatory).
- Conversational Portuguese is an advantage.
