Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SQL Database Administrator to join our team. This is a full-time, onsite position in Little Rock, Arkansas, offering the opportunity to work on critical production and non-production databases.
What You'll Do:

Install and upgrade SQL Servers, applying necessary service packs
-
Conduct routine database maintenance, including scheduling and performing tasks like rebuilding indexes and updating statistics
-
Utilize SQL Server native tools for performance monitoring and optimization
-
Manage SQL Server security, auditing, and encryption across environments
-
Plan and manage capacity for storage and database objects
-
Establish and execute database backup and recovery protocols
-
Create and test Disaster Recovery plans
-
Perform TSQL coding, tuning, and implement ETL methodologies

Support SQL Server High Availability methods such as Mirroring and Always On
What You'll Need:
Required:
-
10 years of experience in Senior SQL Database Administration
-
8 years of experience with SQL Server 2016 or later
-
6 years of Windows Server Administration experience
-
Relevant certifications
-
Availability for 24-hour support
Preferred:
-
Experience with FAST GenTax/DS-VS architecture and application maintenance
-
Familiarity with industry security standards such as PUB1075, FIPS, and PII
-
Knowledge of cloud computing and storage solutions
-
Skills in F5 and firewall administration
-
Experience with SAN, RAID Controllers, and other storage devices
-
Proficiency in Active Directory management
-
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Physical Demands:

Ability to perform sedentary work, primarily involving sitting

Frequent use of computer keyboard and monitor

Occasional lifting of items weighing up to 20 pounds
