Job Description

We are seeking a Sports Industry Consultant with a strong understanding of data, technology, and sports marketing to help shape the future of sports innovation. This role requires a strategic mindset and deep industry expertise, focusing on product strategy, scoring system architecture, digital engagement, and cloud-based solutions. 

The ideal candidate will have experience working with sports organizations, technology providers, or brand partners, guiding them in the adoption of modern solutions that enhance both athlete performance and fan experiences. 

Qualifications

  • Leading cross-functional teams of engineers and other technical team members through design, implementation and best practices.
  • Driving innovative technology solutions through thought leadership on emerging trends 
  • Design and implement automated scoring, officiating, and game management systems by integrating sensor data, real-time event detection, and camera technology
  • Architect cloud-based solutions that enable real-time data ingestion, video streaming for officiating, and AI-powered game management, ensuring high availability and low latency.
  • Develop and refine computer vision models to assist in player and ball tracking, real-time officiating, and automated review systems using video and image processing technologies.
  • Implement agentic AI models that dynamically adapt to league rules, competition formats, and game management systems, enhancing scheduling, roster management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Leverage fan data from SSO, ticketing, merchandising, etc. to create personalized digital experiences
  • Develop frameworks for data sharing, API integrations, and interoperability across sports leagues, teams, and partners, ensuring consistency in competition systems.
