The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a highly motivated Splunk engineer that has over 3 years’ experience managing a Splunk Platform, creating Splunk applications, and using IT Service Intelligence (ITSI). The Splunk engineer will build applications to help manage, search, analyze, and visualize data. The role includes installing, troubleshooting, and performing Splunk application development following a Scrum Agile approach. The role also includes integrating Splunk with other applications and with ServiceNow using web services.
Responsibilities:
• Managing security updates, patching server vulnerabilities, and maintaining a secure network environment
• Maintaining existing Splunk infrastructure
• Reporting on performance using dashboards and other visual representations of data
• Designing, developing, and implementing new features for Splunk products
• Participating in defining requirements for new products and features, testing prototypes, and providing feedback for improvement
• Work with other developers and the Scrum Master to communicate current development effort status and any blockers in the daily Scrum meetings
• Responsible for ensuring that the software behaves as designed by testing it for bugs and performance during all stages of the development process.
• Will assist in maintaining detailed documentation of application design and code generation techniques during the during the development process
• Good team player with a strong willingness to participate and help others
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-moving environment
Qualifications:
Required:
• An Active TS/SCI Clearance with Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph
• 7+ years’ experience and demonstrated knowledge supporting IT systems
• Current Security+ or DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification
• Knowledge of Linux security best practices
• Experience working within Scrum and Agile environments
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a service-oriented mindset
• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering or Cybersecurity
Desired:
AWS Certification
• ITIL v4 Certification
• Splunk Power User Certification
• Configuration Management/Change Management experience

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$102,900 - $216,200
