This New Product Logistics’ Specialist role will lead the logistics’ aspects of the new product development for the ASIC and SOC products developed in the newly formed Digital ASIC Business Unit. The role will liaise between product line and manufacturing organizations. The ideal candidate will be technically strong and will have the experience in new product logistics tools for new product development and release to off-shore subcons
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all logistics aspects of New Product development for the group
- Liaise between product line and manufacturing organizations
- Create, review with team and submit APR, MECN, other L-Maxim tool applications and manufacturing interface forms for all the projects under the L-Maxim flow
- Order all material required for development projects and monitor progress to ensure instructions are carried out as required
- Review the status of WIPs for evaluation, qualification, characterization and report to team on progress versus commits
- Manage and disposition any engineering WIPs and escalate/expedite material when required
- Identify process weaknesses which results in material delays and errors, develop solutions & implement changes
- Maintain PLE milestones
Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering with 3 years of experience in any logistics role
- Experience with L-Maxim tool chain is needed
- Strong planning, analytical skills are essential
- Be self-motivated, and willing to accept responsibility
- Possess strong interpersonal & communication skills
- Ability to adapt to changes and drive tasks to closure by coordinating with multiple groups
