Your Role at Pura:
As a Sourcing Specialist, you will manage fragrance purchase orders with our manufacturers and ensure transparency regarding upcoming volumes with our suppliers. A key focus will be fostering open communication between our fragrance suppliers and internal cross-functional teams. Attention to detail and collaboration are essential to success in this position. The ideal candidate will have experience in fragrance sourcing, supply chain management, purchasing, and negotiation. You will help us inspire a belief in the power of fragrance to craft and elevate memorable moments for our Owners. What You’ll Own:
- Serve as the primary contact for all fragrance-related purchase orders.
- Share ongoing forecasts with fragrance houses and analyze relevant data.
- Act as the point of contact for internal fragrance purchase trends.
- Define and implement procurement strategies and tactical plans for sourcing fragrance raw materials.
- Manage supplier performance to ensure a consistent and uninterrupted supply.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships and successful partnerships with suppliers.
- Identify potential demand changes and communicate these with our turnkey partners and manufacturers.
Essential Functions:
- Communicate effectively about specific details related to potential supply interruptions.
- Assist in the depletion of slow-moving inventory.
- Support new launch development while maintaining clear communication regarding target costs.
- Analyze and improve sourcing processes to streamline operations and reduce costs.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree
● Proven experience in sourcing processes, preferably in fragrance.
● Strong understanding of sourcing methodologies.
● Excellent negotiation skills.
● Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
● Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
● Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
● Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
● Effective time management and organizational skills.
