ResMed’s Global Supplier Alliance (GSA) team is looking for a strategic and driven Sourcing Manager to manage supplier engagement, contract management, and supply base development. This role is vital in driving strategic sourcing activities across a diverse portfolio of released products and product development projects.
Let’s Talk About the Role:

Act as a key member of the Cross Functional Project Teams (XFT) and represent the Global Supplier Alliance (GSA) in managing supplier engagements.

Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with project goals, timelines, budgets, and cost-of-goods-sold (COGS) objectives.

Identify and engage new suppliers while nurturing existing supplier relationships to optimize quality, cost efficiency, and scalability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Development, Marketing, and GSA to integrate innovative technologies and ensure supplier capability.

Lead supplier selection processes and manage business workflows in line with ResMed’s Quality Management System.

Balance project-specific needs with broader GSA and commercial strategies to achieve optimal business outcomes.

Let’s Talk About Qualifications and Experience
Required:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or Business, with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience. Candidates with significant, directly applicable experience may also be considered.

Strong commercial experience within manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain environments.

Prior experience in global or regional sourcing or a similar commercial function is highly advantageous.
Preferred:
-
A recognized certification or qualification in Procurement.

Experience working within the medical device industry, particularly in managing project portfolios.
Preferred Software Knowledge:
-
Proficiency in Oracle, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Explorer, Project.

Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI.

Experience using Jira/Confluence for project management and collaboration.

Knowledge of Contract Management and RFP (Request for Proposal) software
