We are looking for an experienced indirect sourcing professional for technology goods and services to join our Global Sourcing team as a Sourcing Manager. The position reports to Global Sourcing Manager within the Sourcing organization in Fiskars Global Business Services.
This position is based in Espoo, Finland or alternatively in Copenhagen, Denmark or Stockholm, Sweden. The role is full-time and is offered in hybrid working model.
WHAT YOU’LL DO AT FISKARS
Responsibilities:
The Sourcing Manager is responsible for developing global sourcing strategies, managing tendering processes, vendor negotiations, and contract management, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in IT sourcing, outstanding organizational abilities, and a demonstrated history of excelling in competitive sourcing processes and building successful supplier relationships.
In this role, you will partner directly with senior leaders and functional managers, offering strategic guidance and recommendations backed by data-driven analyses and sharp business insight.
Your main responsibilities:
- Strategic Sourcing & Procurement:
- Develop and execute global IT sourcing strategies for different IT Categories (including MarTech, HR IT, CyberSecurity, IT Infrastructure & Operations, Data & Integration, ERP etc.).
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce total cost of ownership (TCO).
- Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers and assess market trends.
- Lead tendering processes, including preparation, distribution, and evaluation of RFIs, RFPs and RFQs.
- Supplier Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with global IT vendors and suppliers.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and compliance metrics.
- Resolve supplier-related issues and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
- Contract Negotiation:
- Lead negotiations for IT contracts, ensuring favorable terms, service level agreements (SLAs), and compliance with company policies.
- Draft, review, and manage contracts in collaboration with legal and IT teams.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with the Business, IT, Finance, and other departments to align procurement activities with business needs.
- Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure seamless communication and delivery.
- Risk Management & Compliance:
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT sourcing, including cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure all sourcing activities adhere to global and local legal requirements.
- Cost Analysis & Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze IT sourcing spending to identify trends and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Prepare regular reports on sourcing activities, cost savings, and supplier performance for senior management.
- Business Case preparation.
WHO YOU ARE
You are an accomplished IT sourcing professional with a sharp eye for detail and a strategic mindset. Being not just a skilled negotiator but also a trusted collaborator who thrives on building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors alike. Ultimately, you are results-driven, solutions-oriented, and passionate about making an impact in IT sourcing. And not to forget, a great colleague to work with!
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, ITIL) preferred.
- Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in global IT sourcing, indirect Sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record in managing large IT contracts and vendor relationships.
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. In-depth knowledge of IT products, licensing & subscription models, services, and market dynamics.
- Proficiency in Sourcing software, contract lifecycle management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluent written and spoken English – English is the working language
- Attributes:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented approach.
