Job Description

As a Sourcing Associate, the candidate will be handling and supporting the Japan Sourcing services as the following:

  • Manage communications with low-volume suppliers; Agency letters, quotations, invoice follow-ups, etc. in Japanese and/or Korean language.

  • Will be required to reconcile Invoices received from Agilent suppliers.

  • Processing and maintaining supplier data (in Excel or other tools) as part of Enterprise Solution deals Quotations, Purchase Orders, Invoices, instruments, etc.

  • Request for quote – Contact suppliers to get prices for Instrument services. Negotiate/establish pricing for small-sized deals.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or master’s degree or University Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or any field
  • 2 - 5 years of relevant working experience in the sourcing process, procurement, MNC environment, and Japan, APAC and Korea markets.
  • Open to and can talk to 3rd party Suppliers in Japan/Korea/Asia Pacific countries (previous experience preferred).
  • Good ability to communicate in the Japanese language is a requirement with an Excellent command of the English language.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively as part of a cross-geographic, cross-organizational, and cross-cultural team.
  • Ability to multi-task and follow up on outstanding tasks
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Independent starter. Ability to work in a Remote environment, with a remote manager and team.
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and Word
  • Proficiency in SAP, Ariba, and RFP/RFQ

This job has a full time weekly schedule.
