As a Solutions Engineer, you will play a critical role in optimizing publisher performance for the largest sites within our ad network. Your responsibilities will span both technical implementation and performance optimization, ensuring seamless onboarding, troubleshooting technical issues, and analyzing data to drive revenue growth. You will act as a liaison between publishers, engineering, and account management teams, identifying opportunities to enhance ad performance, streamline integrations, and optimize revenue potential. This role requires a mix of analytical skills, strategic problem-solving, and technical expertise to support both internal teams and external partners in the fast-paced digital advertising landscape.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assess and scope solution requirements for prospective customers, ensuring successful publisher onboarding.
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize publisher integrations to enhance site performance.
- Track and analyze publisher revenue data to detect trends, anomalies, and opportunities for growth.
- Ensure seamless ad integrations using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and industry best practices.
- Build custom reporting for performance optimization and business insights
- Support quarterly performance reviews for enterprise clients, providing data-driven recommendations.
- Assist Account Management team in answering client questions and developing tailored solutions to meet their revenue goals.
- Diagnose unexpected changes in publisher revenue or demand-side activity, escalating and resolving issues efficiently.
The skills and experience you bring to the job:
- General knowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem and programmatic media buying/selling.
- Strong analytical skills, including SQL knowledge and experience with data visualization platforms (Looker, Domo, Tableau) to generate insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables, macros, complex formulas, etc).
- Familiarity with HTML5/XHTML, CSS and JavaScript for ad format integration and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Core Web Vitals and diagnostic tools for performance optimization.
- Ability to transform performance data into actionable insights to drive revenue growth.
- Excellent communication skills for client-facing discussions, troubleshooting, and strategic recommendations.
- 2+ years in an analytical, product, or QA role within digital media, ad tech, or a related field.

The base salary range for this position is $70,000-$90,000. The range provided is Raptive’s reasonable estimate of the annualized base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, geographic location, knowledge, skills and abilities. This role is eligible for additional incentive compensation that isn’t included in the posted range.
