As a Solution Engineer, you will be part of the Sales & Partnerships organization, reporting to the Manager of International Solutions Engineering. You will work primarily with our Spanish sales team supporting sales opportunities and driving customer acquisition, while working on fun and challenging projects that help drive our business and market growth. You will also be the interface between sales, Product & Eng, Customer Success, and data privacy on technical topics and product-related projects

Role Responsibilities: What you'll do

  • You will be the primary point of contact for our sales team focused on working with our customers in Spain.

  • You will collaborate with account executives on sales opportunities to determine and validate technical requirements, product use cases and solution scope

  • As an SE, you’ll have deep technical knowledge of Personio’s product suite and be the first line of defense and product expert for sales and prospects

  • You will support the creation of commercial proposals and executive presentations, including business value assessment with ROI/TCO calculations

  • You will support other regions/markets as required 

  • Travel to customer site as needed (10-20% of time)

Role Requirements: What you need to succeed

  • You have 2-3+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering or a similar profession

  • You have a technical background and understanding of SaaS, IT infrastructure, IT stack and security protocols

  • You are customer-centric and commercially driven

  • You are also data-driven, think analytically and are able to rightsize your efforts based on customer/business needs

  • Up to date knowledge in security/compliance (e.g. ISO27k)

  • Clear and structured communication style that can suit changing dynamics
